Graduate of the Faculty of Law, Sophia University.
Member of the Japan Trademark Association.
Member of the Japan Group of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA).
After working at a Tokyo patent law firm, Tsukasa qualified as a patent attorney in 2005. He specializes in trademark, design and brand-related matters, including domestic and international searches, filings, and trial proceedings, as well as providing legal advice on the Unfair Competition Prevention Act and copyright. He also offers consulting services that extend from the analysis and assessment of intellectual assets through to rights acquisition and practical utilization.

Graduate of the Faculty of Law, Chuo University.
Vice Chair of the Kanagawa Committee, Kanto Branch of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
Member of the Japan Association of International Business Law and the Copyright Law Association of Japan.
With professional experience in patent firms, law offices, and corporate legal affairs, Takayasu specializes in intellectual property rights acquisition, contracts, and disputes. He is currently responsible for preparing case summaries (Unfair Competition, Copyright, Contracts, and Designs) for the Japan Institute for Promoting Invention and Innovation’s Intellectual Property Rights Case Law Flash Report, and is building a trademark case law and trial decision database (partially available to the public).
